Project Overview

Project Summary:

It is an e-Healthcare solution against the aging era and the regional medical gap in R.O.K. First, we propose the introduction of a government-managed integrated system that integrates distributed medical data and enhances security, as well as a new Korean-style family doctor system. And we envision an app service that supports preliminary and health monitoring services and remote collaboration by AI doctor assistants. We can see the effect of increasing medical access, increasing the interconnectivity between patients and doctors, and increasing the efficiency of face-to-face and telemedicine via this project.

Identifying the Challenge

The Social Problem:

Addressing the gap in medical services between urban and rural areas, and preparing for the change of a super-aged society, we expected the family doctor system and telemedicine to be very effective solutions. In particular, the integration of individual distributed medical data and the introduction of the family doctor system will improve the quality of primary medical services and enable continuous disease management, resulting in a reduction in overall medical costs.

Innovation and Uniqueness

Why Our Project Stands Out:

In proposing a new Korean-style family doctor model, the app tried to fully reflect not only current but also future environmental changes and problems. And many people only think about AI replacing doctors, but we tried to consider why AI cannot replace doctors now, what's lacking, what's useful for doctors, and so on. So, we finally designed to save time through the AI pre-diagnosis and collaboration system to save time when there are insufficient doctors.

Insights and Development

Learning Journey:

We tried to capture various opinions in the field for the app via direct interviews with medical experts. And using Figma, we designed it to make it easy and comfortable for the patients to use and feel satisfaction in their hands. The final development was made available in both iOS and Android environments using React Native.

Development Process:

We first implemented Flutter based on Figma, but we decided that it would be more advantageous to use other cross-platforms in terms of data linkage, so we created a new app with React Nate. As a result, more effort was put in, and as a result, we were able to provide quick and easy telemedicine procedures and strengthen our relationship with doctors within the app to propose an app for solving future medical problems.
